Born to drive

I am fascinated by pilots who can fly airplanes smaller than a wheeled tractor inside and out of a mountain “massif”. And land them. And take them off. Daily. For life.

I just can’t imagine these planes having air-hostesses. No one would want to service passengers crawling in the aisle. Though, maybe not. Perhaps, some of the wealthy passengers are willing to offer a fee that would cover the crawl, the beer and even singing a ditty. I don’t know why but I thought of Berlusconi first. Then a few Russian names surfaced up as well.

Once a year, one of the smaller planes does a flip-over while landing there, because of strong side winds. Or so I was told by locals. I’ve never seen it myself, but I’ve seen some strong side winds that could flip me over.

No, thank you, I’ll take the car.
